My name is Janice, and I am a ‘writer that cooks’!
I created Feast for gastronomic travellers, foodies and passionate home cooks, and all those who appreciate beautiful culinary books.
I also created Feast to share my food journey: my adventures, inspirations, tips and revelations, as well as the pure joy I experience when creating and sharing delicious feasts with friends.
Feast also celebrates my books Garlic Feast and Tomato: know, sow, grow, feast.
Garlic Feast, a beautiful coffee table book celebrating garlic won Australia Cookbook of the Year, Best Cookbook in the World(Self Publishing and Printing), and was also a finalist for Best Cookbook of the Year in the World across all categories at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2017.
Garlic Feast also won a Bronze Medal in the General Cookbook Category at the prestigious Independent Publisher Awards in New York in 2017.
My new book Tomato co-authored with Penny Woodward and Karen Sutherland - a sumptuous tome celebrating heirloom tomatoes won GOLD at the Independent Publisher Awards in New York, in May 2019.
